INSTALLATION - ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
The instructions below, to be carried out in the order in which they are numbered, refer to the drawings (giving the same numbering) on the last pages of this
manual.
Note: Some instructions differ according to the hood body width and height, in which case installation differences are given in the text and on the drawings.
1. Place the hood on a flat surface, protected with a cloth, and fix the glass casing with the screws as indicated.
Note: The painted side of the casing must be coupled to the hood.
2. Mark a line on the wall up to the ceiling, corresponding to the centre line.
3. Place the drilling diagram on the wall, taking into account the required minimum distances from the hob (fix it with adhesive tape): the vertical centre line
marked on the drilling diagram must match the centre line drawn on the wall, and the bottom edge of the diagram must coincide with the bottom edge of
the hood. Make 3 holes.
4. Remove the drilling diagram and insert plugs and screws as indicated.
5. Partially tighten the screws.
6. Place the flue support bracket on the wall and against the ceiling. Drill and insert the wall plugs as indicated. Fix the bracket.
7. Extractor Version only - rear exhaust outlet: Make a hole in the rear wall for the exhaust pipe, respecting the distances indicated.
8. Extractor Version only - ceiling exhaust outlet: Make a hole in the ceiling for the exhaust pipe, respecting the distances indicated.
9. Prepare the connection to the household electrical system.
10. Filter Version only: Fix the deflector to the flue support bracket.
11. Remove the grease filter(s).
12. Remove the tape fixing the control electronics box to the motor body.
Note: The figure is only a guide, and the box may be temporarily fixed to other sides of the motor body.
13. Hook the hood to the wall.
14. Adjust the hood horizontally, using a level.
15. Adjust the distance between the hood and wall.
16. Fix the hood to the wall with screws and washers as indicated.
17. Fix the collar to the exhaust outlet hole.
18. Secure the box with the screws already partially tightened to the motor body.
19. Insert the electrical cable in the special seat.
20. Secure the cable to the cable clamp.
IMPORTANT: This operation is compulsory. It will prevent accidental disconnection of the power cable.
Carry out the connection to the household electrical system.
21. Connect the fume exhaust pipe to the collar; the pipe must be run towards the outside (extractor version) or towards the deflector (filter version).
IMPORTANT: The exhaust pipe is not included in the pack and must be purchased separately.
22. Insert the flues in the special seat over the hood, completely covering the extraction unit.
23. Pull out the upper section and fix the flues with the screws as indicated.
24. Filter Version only: Fit the carbon filter.
25. Refit the grease filter(s).
Check hood operation, referring to the section giving a description of the hood and its use.
