3.2.2. SWITCHING ON, START COOKING AND SWITCHING OFF

Fill the vat with hot or cold water, according to need, using the tap that the appliance is equipped with.

The appliance has a three-position selector to start cooking functions (see figure "Controls").
−
Here is a list of the procedures for a safe and correct use of the appliance.
Energising the unit:

Connect the appliance by turning on the main switch installed before it.
Cooking start:
Switch on the equipment (to be sure look at the display : display lighting the equipment in on)

Set the temperature according to cooking requirements :
press "SET" for 3 sec.
Two LEDs will light up (see chap. 4.3. part. nr.5), indicating the step of temperature setting.
With the arrows increase / decrease the temperature required.
To confirm the choice, press "SET" again, or wait 5 sec.

The heating starts (look the led lighting up, above left).

During the cooking time, to display the set temperature, press "SET" for a second. After 5 sec. it
comes back automatically to the actual temperature.

Just reaching the set temperature, the equipment keeps the cooking conditions required.

Switch off the equipment by the external master switch.
Cooking stop:
press "SET" for 6 sec.

appears "OFF", the heating set functions are deactivated

pressing it again for 6 seconds the previous functions are activated.
Please note : the thermostat keeps in the memory the last set point also cutting off the tension.
Both the thermostats, could be controlled with a HACCP connection (optional).

Do not use aggressive substances or abrasive detergents when cleaning the stainless steel
components.

Avoid using metal pads of the steel parts as they may cause rust. For the same reason, avoid contact
with materials containing iron.

Do not use sandpaper or abrasive paper for cleaning; in special cases use a powder pumice stone.

In case of particularly resistant dirt, it is advisable to use abrasive sponges (e.g. Scotch-Brite).

It is advisable to clean the appliance only once it has cooled down.
