The main purpose of the reusable cartridge is the total demineralisation of

the water used to fill a heating and cooling closed circuit.
The water is treated using ion exchange resins in the mixed bed
cartridges: virtually all undesired components are removed from the
incoming untreated water at the inlet, then resulting completely
demineralized, featuring a residual electrical conductivity extremely low.
