Regular Inspections
• Check the casters and wheels for wear. Replace as necessary. Do not replace or adjust wheel or
caster components without the proper tools and training.
• Inspect the legrest and foot plate regularly to ensure stability and secure attachment to the chair.
Check for cracks and sharp edges, and replace if found.
• Inspect the armrests regularly. Inspect for sharp edges or cracks, which could weaken the
armrests, and replace if found.
• Check the upholstery regularly. Inspect for rips, tears and worn spots. Ensure all upholstery is
well secured.
• WARNING: Worn or torn upholstery, or upholstery with loose hardware, must be replaced
immediately. Do not use the device until the replacement is completed, as it may not support
body weight.
• Check the tilt cable for damage. Replace if necessary.
• Inspect mechanical lock for oil leaks, and replace if found.
• Verify smooth tilt function.
• Verify fasteners are tight. Tighten any loose connections, if necessary.
• Check all positioning parts for damage.
• Keep your chair clean and free of foreign materials, such as mud, dirt, hair, food, drink, etc.
Storage

Tilt Chair should be stored in a dry place, free from temperature extremes. Avoid
