Uses new DKC55 compact controller
Includes 8Mbit program flash memory and 16MB recording flash memory
New key-drive unit with high-power high-efficiency solenoids
Flash ROM included on PK-CTL sheet (Programs can be rewritten from floppy disk.)
Two 60W 2-way speakers mounted on struts
The following units are installed in a single strut-mounted box (called the "Amplifier Unit").
Transformer

2. DGP1 (playback-only model)

Uses new DKC55 compact controller
Same as DGA1, except for the following additional units and changes:
New 16MB MN unit included within the Amplifier Unit
New motor-driven shank stopper with improved quick escapement mechanism
Switch box's headphone jack is linked to speakers.
IMPORTANT
While the DGP1 includes the silent system (shank stopper and MN sheet), it does not include key sen-
sors and is not intended for typical silent play. Specifically, setting the DGP1 into silent mode will not
cause the keyboard to produce sound from the internal tone generator. The silent system is provided for
playback only: it allows the user to switch from acoustic to digital sound (from the internal piano tone
generator) at time of playback. This makes it possible for users to play back ensemble pieces using both
the XG generator and the piano tone generator, with full control of both volumes.
