Module programming

Refer to "LED diagnostics and troubleshooting" for more information and for troubleshooting purposes.
Ensure vehicle is in a safe location and cannot move forward during programming. For

vehicles equipped with a manual transmission, make sure the gearshift is in the neutral
position.
Wait until the LED turns ON solid red.

Note: To skip the transponder programming and use convenience features only, press
the programming button 5 times. Wait until the LED turns ON solid orange, then
proceed with step 2.
Insert the first key, turn the key to the Ignition position: the LED flashes green. Wait 5

seconds then remove the key.
Within 5 seconds:

Insert the second key and turn the key to the Ignition position: the LED flashes green.
Wait 5 seconds then remove the key.
Within 5 seconds:
Press and Hold the programming button. The vehicle ignition will be triggered. The

LED turns ON solid green for 3 seconds, then turns OFF once the module has been
successfully programmed. The door locks will cycle once. Release the programming
button.
You have successfully completed the module programming sequence.
