Conversations

Send a message

1.
In the Contact list, click a contact.
2. Type a message.
3. Press the Enter key.

Send a message to a user that is not in your contact list

1.
On the Contact list screen, press the Menu key.
2. Click Send Message To.
3. Type a user name.
4. Click OK.

Open a conversation

Conversations appear in the Conversations group and in the main message list on your BlackBerry® device.
On the Contact list screen, in the Conversations group, click a contact.

Add an emoticon

1.
When you are composing a message, press the Emoticon key.
2. Click an emoticon.

Send a file to a contact

1.
On the Contact list screen, highlight an online contact.
2. Press the Menu key.
3. Click Send File.
4. Perform one of the following actions:
• To send a picture file, click Picture. Click a picture.
• To send a document file, click File. Click a file.
• To send a voice note, click Voice Note. Record your message. Click Send.
• To send a vCard® contact attachment, click Address.
• To send multiple files, click Multiple. Click a file. To add more files, click Add another file. Click another file. Click Send.
Note: To cancel a file transfer, click Cancel.
