Programme Selection
The chart on page 19 gives details of
the programmes which your machine is
designed to carry out. You will soon
discover which programmes suit your
type of washing up.
If you partially load the machine and
want to make up a full load later in the
day after another meal, use the rinse
and hold programme.
Starting the Machine
The dishwasher is fully-integrated and
designed to be hidden completely
behind a furniture door. The controls
for this appliance are positioned on the
top of the dish-washer door. The door
must be partially opened for the
controls to be used.
1. Push the ON/OFF Button (A) to
switch the appliance on.
2. The Indicator Lights (E) (F) will
come on.
3. Depress the button (B) which
corresponds to the programme you
have selected, until the indicator light
(F) goes out.
4. Close the door; the machine will
begin operation.
Stopping the Machine
At the end of the programme, an
audible signal will sound which will last
for about 15 seconds. This is to tell you
that the programme is finished.
18
Open the door (the «Programme End»
Indicator light (F) will be on) and push
the ON/OFF Button (A) to switch the
appliance off.
If you need to stop the dishwasher at
any moment during the wash cycle,
switch the appliance off at the plug;
open the dishwasher and push the
ON/OFF Button (A).
To cancel a wash programme in
progress, select the «Rinse and Hold»
Programme.
The machine will discharge the water
in a short time and will stop
automatically.
A new programme may
then be selected.
At the end of a selected programme, the
water and electricity supplies should be
turned off to ensure complete safety
when the machine is left unattended.
If the appliance is able to be operated on
the Electricity Board's (Economy) system
then you should turn off the water and
electricity supplies as soon as possible
upon completion of the selected
programme.
Warning
Do not open the door while the
machine is operating. A safety device
has been incorporated which
automatically stops the machine if the
door is opened accidentally.
Emptying the baskets
You are advised to empty the lower
basket first and then the upper one. This will
avoid any drops of water falling from the
upper basket onto the contents of the
lower basket.
