In addition to the points already included in the operating instructions, the following safety instructions
must be followed:
1. These safety instructions are to be followed to ensure safe use of the device.
2. Before use, the device should be optically inspected for damage. Do not use defective devices and have
them repaired by authorized specialists.
3. Always use the device in accordance with these operating instructions (see "Commissioning").
4. NEVER operate this equipment with compressed air.
5. Use this equipment only for the purpose described in this manual: maintenance of hydraulically operated
brake and clutch systems. Never empty or fill containers other than those provided for this purpose!
6. Only use the unit with intended brake fluids such as DOT3, DOT4, DOT5. Never use other liquids (fuels,
solvents, motor or mineral oils, etc.).
7. Use personal protective equipment that complies with the safety instructions specific to the filling fluid. In
case of contact with the filling fluid, follow the measures described in the safety instructions.
8. Clean the outside of the unit if it has been soiled during use. No flammable liquid residue should remain
on the housing.
9. Do not clean the device with a high-pressure cleaner! (type according to IP44).
10. Do not place any rags soaked in oil, fuel or solvent on the unit.
11. Use only suitable accessories (e. g. ventilation manifold) specified by the manufacturer.
12. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's instructions!
To maintain the reliability and safety of the device, we recommend regular maintenance by qualified
personnel.
To ensure the environmentally friendly disposal of used fluid, we recommend the use of a closed brake fluid
disposal system.
Be careful:
• Never clean the unit with flammable liquids!
• The connection to the grid should only be replaced by the manufacturer or his service department, which
is normally equipped with specific tools.

WARRANTY

• The electric hermetic brake bleeder (HU 1104) is guaranteed free of defects in parts and workmanship for
three years from the date of purchase.
• This warranty is limited to parts and labour necessary for repair.
• Any improper or incorrect use of the HU 1104 will void the warranty.
• Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customers. Any attempt to repair the HU 1104 by a third party
other than our authorized service center will void the warranty.
