Shadows will be visible in photos where light from the built-in flash is
obscured by the lens or lens hood. Remove the lens hood before shoot-
ing. Note, however, that depending on the distance to the subject, and
in the case of zoom lenses also on the lens focal length, shadows may
appear even when the lens hood is removed.
