Introduction:

If your 1

-generation CTS or SRX audio system did not include U2K package (XM

Tuner), chances are you have not been able to find a viable solution for

connecting and playing portable audio devices in your car. The PXDX-CTS

Auxiliary input adapter kit allows these proud owners to connect and play all

kinds of audio devices including Smartphones, iPad, MP3 players, iPods etc.

This Kit is exclusive to vehicles without XM tuner;

however, factory radio must be XM ready otherwise

dealer must activate (turn-on) this feature using a

special tool and only then will the radio recognize this

module. Programming (activating) XM is carried out by

GM dealer who may or may not charge a fee for the

service. Please call dealer in advance for details.

Installation

: (To Radio)

Radio must be removed from dashboard to gain access to connectors.

Using a panel removal tool, unclip and remove the top A/C vent panel

(See Fig. 1)

2. Open ash tray and remove tray. Extract (1) 9/32" (7mm) screw.

3. Using a panel removal tool, unclip and remove A/C control/ash tray

assembly below radio (See Fig. 2)

4. Remove (4) 10mm bolts securing radio to the dash (See Fig. 3)

5. Pull radio forward to reveal wiring (See Fig. 4)
