5. Connect installation harness 16-pin plug (See Fig. 1) to XM module.

Retaining XM Playback (Active subscription)

Connect installation harness straight angle 3.5mm plug (See Fig. 4) to

module input jack labeled "XM/AUX" (See Fig. 5)

2. Connect installation harness right angle 3.5mm plug (See Fig. 4) to module

short pigtail jack (See Fig. 6). Proceed to step 6

AUX input (Expired subscription):

If XM has expired with no plans to activate, it is possible to connect and play

an auxiliary device (Mp3 player, iPod etc.) on the car system. With this

option XM playback is inhibited, however XM Tuner is still required and

remains connected.

Noteworthy: The C6-HF module is capable of retaining XM subscription or

provide an Aux input (one or the other; not both)

1. Connect installation harness right angle 3.5mm plug (See Fig. 4) to module

short pigtail jack (See Fig. 6).

2. Connect included 3.5mm male-male cable (See Fig. 7) to module input jack

labeled "XM/AUX" (See Fig. 5), and route other end to front of dash or

where aux device will reside (within 3 ft.)
