• Maintain a limited area exclusive for working with the equipment, always
keeping this place clean, without obstructions and with proper
illumination.
• Do not use clothing that is too loose and which might get caught in the
machine.
• Always wear gloves, safety gloves and ear protection.
• Perform the maintenance recommended on this manual with qualified
people and within the correct periods.
• Avoid contact with hot surfaces.
• Avoid contact with rotating parts.
• ENSURE that the area to be compacted does not contain any "live"
electrical cables, gas, water or communication services which may be
damaged by the action of vibration.
• DO NOT refuel the motor while it is in operation or hot.
• DO NOT refuel the motor in the vicinity of sparks, a naked flame or a
person smoking.
• DO NOT operate or refuel a gasoline motor in a confined area without
adequate ventilation.
• WEAR an approved hearing protection device to limit noise exposure.
• Do not break the seal and change the engine rotation, which may cause
excessive wear on the engine, base and eccentric of this machine.
• Do not tilt machine to eccentric pulley side, because oil will leak from the
eccentric vent.
• Do not use on compacted terrain.
