Configuration

Installation

Connect 10/100 Ethernet, HDMI audio/video source, and Power. Power

is supplied by an external AC power.

If using the decoder, connect a suitable monitor or similar video

destination.

Find IP Address

The Hornet is configured for DHCP and will obtain an IP address

automatically.

There are two ways to find the IP address:

Method 1 -- USB

Insert a USB storage device into the Hornet's USB port. After a few

moments, a text file "streaming_ip_address.txt" will be created and it

will contain the IP address of the Hornet in this form:

IP address: 172.16.1.235 DHCP assigned IP address Mask: 255.255.255.0 Gateway: 172.16.1.1 Domain name servers(DNS): 172.16.1.1

Method 2 -- Finder

Run the Hornet Finder program. After several moments, all Hornet

devices IP addresses will be displayed.

The Hornet Ethernet MAC address is printed on the bottom label. You

may also use this to find the IP in your network.
