Bird's Nest & Red Dates

Soak dried bird's nest in cold water for 4 hours.
Use tweezers to pick out the feathers. Change
water once after 2 hours. Drain water.
Pour 4 cups water into kettle. Place 1 1/2 cups of
water, soaked bird's nest, and red dates into
the stew pot. Then place into the kettle with
water. Select 10:Bird's Nest and push Start/
Select to cook for 40 minutes. When done
cooking, add rock sugar.
SERVES 2.
Chicken Nagaimo Soup

chicken wings cut into 3 inch pieces
1
chicken leg cut into 3 inch pieces
1 cup
nagaimo, cut into 2 inch pieces
5
dried shiitake mushrooms, soaked &
stemmed
red dates

ginger, sliced
2 inches
goji berries
1 tbsp
rice wine
2 tbsp
salt
1 tbsp
water
5 cups
Add chicken, mushrooms, red dates, ginger,
and water into kettle. Select 14:Soup and push
Start/Select to cook for 37 minutes. Add goji
berries, nagaimo, cooking wine, and salt for 3
minutes.
SERVES 4.
