Material Handling
Do not use any material without first reviewing its Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
To prevent injury and equipment damage, be sure to follow all handling guidelines detailed in the appropriate Material
Guide.
Alarms and Warnings
Displayed error, alarm, or warning messages can result from unsafe practices, such as opening an enclosure door or panel
when equipment is powered up and running.
Interlock Function
When you open the protective glass lid, it automatically turns off the water pressure.
Always keep the lid closed during operation for a secure work environment.

2.1 Intended Use

The Density water jet cabinet is a precision tool intended for use in the additive manufacturing process for depowdering of
additive manufactured components made of polymeric powders. The final performance characteristics of the machine may
vary according to your compliance with the instructions for use, design guidelines, application, operating conditions, fluids
combined with, end-use, or other factors.
The machine should only be operated by trained personnel and as described in this document.
Do not carry out any disassembly or tampering with the machine that is not described in the manual
In case of any machine breakdown contact 3D Systems for service and maintenance.
Only use it as described in this manual and contact 3D Systems immediately if there are any problems.

2.2 Installation and Service Restrictions

During installation and service of the Density, only authorized personnel with adequate training are allowed to handle and be in
close proximity of the machine to ensure that no unexpected incidents occur which could cause physical harm to the individual
or damage the equipment.
