Hand- + Key-Sender

Hand-Sender: DHS-12

Intended Use:The hand-held transmitters DHS-12 and DKS-10 are radio transmitters and can

wirelessly switch suitable radio receivers on and off or dim

function depends on your radio receiver. Detailed information can be found in its user manual.

The remote control can control an unlimited number of compatible wireless sockets.

Installing/replacing the battery

1. Remove the battery compartment cover (5) on the back of the remote control.

2. Insert a round cell battery, type CR2032, into the battery compartment. The positive pole must

point upwards (see "+" printed on the battery). Push the battery all the way into the battery

compartment.

3. Close the battery compartment. The battery must be replaced if the range of the remote control

decreases noticeably or if the indicator lamp (1) no longer lights up when you press a button.

Key Functions DHS-12;

- Control buttons (2) left = ON/ right = OFF.

- upper 3 rows: switching of channels 1, 2 and 3

- 4th row (3) ALL ON and ALL OFF turns channels 1 to 3 on and off simultaneously.

- Slide switch (4), assigns channels 4~6,7~9,10~12 to the top 3 row buttons

The indicator lamp (1) lights up each time a button is pressed.

Dimming function of the radio hand-held transmitter – only with a suitable dimmer receiver:

- Press the "ON" button to switch on the light in the last saved brightness.

- Press the "ON" button again, the light gets darker and brighter again until

press "ON" again. This new brightness is then stored.

- If you press "OFF", the light goes out, but the last brightness level remains saved.

- to switch off, press the "OFF" button.

The configuration depends on the radio receiver you are using. Detailed information can be found in

its user manual.

The remote control can control an unlimited number of compatible wireless receivers.

=> this is how you pair a radio receiver with the hand-held transmitter:

1.) Normally turn on the receiver or press and hold the receiver's learning button for 3 seconds to put

the receiver into learning status (LED flashes)

2.) then press and hold the transmitter "ON" button for 3 seconds until the LED stops flashing and

stays on. Some receivers confirm the teach-in with a short switch.

If you want to train additional receivers, start again at point 1.

Erasing the code

The transmitter does not store the code, but it can help clear the receiver's code.

To put a receiver into learning status, turn it on or press and hold the receiver's learning button for 3

seconds (LED flashes).

During learning mode, press and hold the transmitter "OFF" button for 3 seconds until the receiver's

LED stops flashing and stays on, the code has been cleared successfully. Some receivers confirm

the deletion with a short switch.

Since there are different receivers, it is always better to use the operating

instructions for the respective receiver for pairing and deleting.
