Recommended rubber hose to use between the units is either a 3.5" or 4.5"
diameter silicon turbo "step-hump-hose". Consider the following while
installing the unit:
♦ The unit can be mounted either horizontally or vertically.
♦ You must allow a minimum of 6" – 8" between mounting bracket
anywhere along the tubed housing
♦ There must be a minimum of 20" beyond the end cap in order to
remove the filter element for inspection or replacement.
Trailer Mounting
There are several ways of mounting PneuClean on dry bulk trailers.
The main criteria to remember are:
♦ The hot hose should be supported; the inlet weldment will not
support the hot hose and quick disconnect for a long period of
time.
♦ You can mount vertically or horizontally by bolting the mounting
bracket to a structural member or permanent part of the trailer.
♦ Allow a minimum of 6"- 8" between mounting bracket anywhere
along the tubed housing.
♦ There must be at least 20" beyond the end cap in order to remove
the filter element for inspection or replacement.
♦
There should be a check valve after the filtration unit to stop any
product in the event of reverse flow.
