Maintenance
If you do not use the trailer, stroller or crate for a lengthy period of
time you can fold it and store it at a dry place out of direct sunlight and
in well-ventilated area.
The fabric can be hand washed with mild soap or detergent and warm
water. The floor can be cleaned using a nylon bristle brush. Do not use
bleach to clean the fabric. Polyester fabric will eventually fade,
especially when exposed to direct sunlight. In order to avoid mildew on
the fabric, wipe it dry after it has been exposed to water.
In case you use the Novel Stroller in combination with the Trailer you
can store the tow bar on the side while walking, see image.
Replace any damaged parts.
Safety Checklist
Before you start riding please check the following:
Hitch pin is properly secured with safety strap in place
Wheels are tightly attached
Tires inflated to recommended pressure
Bicycle safety check, especially the brakes
Helmet for cyclist
Safety flag installed
Your dog is calm and ready for the ride
Maximum loading capacity is 100 lbs/45 kg
Furthermore check regularly:
Hitch safety strap for any damage
Inspect tires for wears and cracks
Inspect wheel bearings for wear
Inspect wheels on trueness and rims on cracks
Inspect fabric for rips
