Features of your Blueprint Ozone Generator
• Eliminates odors in areas up to 5,500 cu ft
• Produces 1050 mg/hr of ozone
• Replaceable bulb
Warning
• Do not operate the Ozone Generator while the unit housing is
open or the UV bulb is exposed. Direct exposure to UV light may
cause severe eye damage.
• OSHA regulations limit ozone exposure to a average
concentration of 0.1 ppm over 8 hours. Used properly, the Ozone
Generator will produce ozone levels far below OSHA regulations.
• Ozone can be toxic at high levels. If you experience nose, throat,
eye or lung irritation, immediately power off the Ozone Generator
and vacate the area. Ventilate the space before returning.
• People with asthma or other respiratory diseases may be more
susceptible to the effects of ozone and should use caution when
using the Ozone Generator.
• Use the Ozone Generator in a dry, unoccupied space.
• Use the Ozone Generator with a timing device for safe,
reliable operation.
• Always turn the Ozone Generator off and disconnect it from the
power source before cleaning.
Installation
1. Install the Ozone Generator in an unoccupied area to minimize
exposure. The unit does not need to be installed at the source
of the odor to be effective. Mount the unit on the wall if desired.
2. Use the Ozone Generator with a timing device to control output.
Maintenance
Clean the Ozone Generator's internal components every six
months to maintain optimum performance. Turn off the Ozone
Generator and disconnect it from the power source before
opening the housing. Clean the bulb and the internal housing using
glass cleaner and/or compressed air. Securely close the housing
before connecting the Ozone Generator to the power source.

FAQ
• What is ozone?
Ozone is a naturally occurring molecule that can be formed
by exposing oxygen to ultraviolet light. An oxygen molecule
(O
) consists of two bonded oxygen atoms. If an oxygen
2
molecule is exposed to UV light, the two atoms separate. The
separated oxygen atoms form weak bonds with other oxygen
molecules, creating ozone molecules (O
• How does the Ozone Generator work?
The Ozone Generator draws air into the housing and circulates
it past a UV light bulb, which converts the oxygen in the air to
ozone that is released into the area. When an ozone molecule
encounters a volatile organic compound (VOC), its extra
oxygen atom splits off and attaches itself to the VOC,
neutralizing the odor by changing the VOC's molecular
composition. The other two oxygen atoms remain in the air as
a harmless oxygen molecule.
Troubleshooting
• The unit is connected to a power source and the power
switch is turned on, but the unit is not operating.
To protect against UV exposure, the Ozone Generator is
equipped with a safety shut-off switch that will turn off the unit
when the housing is opened. Ensure the housing is securely
closed.
• The fan is drawing air, but the bulb is not operating.
Turn off the Ozone Generator and disconnect it from the power
source before opening the housing. Ensure the bulb is secure
in its socket. If the problem persists, the bulb may need to be
replaced. Replacement bulbs are available separately.
