INSTALLER INFORMATION
Micro Switch Installation
This procedure is to be followed for the installation of the Micro
Switch required for the "Climate Control System", the micro switch
shown above, the Control valve is now ready to be fitted with the
Climate Control System.
Climate Control System
This requires no external electrical power to operate. The receiver
unit has a unit that has only one lead. This lead has four plugs (two
larger plugs of different sizes and two plugs the same size). The two
larger plugs fit onto the two spade plugs on the top of the Gas
This Receiver/Handset works using sound waves, and as such no
direct line of sight is required between the two items. Provided that
the distance between the receiver and handset is less than 10m, the
system will work.

The Micro Switch fits
onto the Plastic Cover of
the valve, sitting on a

Assuming the motor has
already been fitted, as
Control unit, the orientation of
these plugs are important. The two
smaller plugs fit on to the small
spade connectors on the side of
the control unit.
Install
the
batteries
into
the
receiver and the handset; these
will be 4 x 1,5V AA alkaline and 9V
PP3 alkaline respectively.

It is also possible to turn the main burner all the way down so that it is
effectively off, leaving only the pilot ignited.
Extinguishing the Appliance Fully
From any heat setting, press the "
This will cause the burner to fully extinguish.
The system has a safety interlock which will not allow the Ignition
until the Interlock rests (this may take a few minutes).
Temp - Daytime Temperature mode.
(appliance must be in standby mode; pilot ignited): The room
temperature is measured and compared to the set temperature. The
Flame height is then automatically adjusted to achieve the Daytime
is
set temperature.
Temp - Night time setback Temperature mode.
(appliance must be in standby mode; pilot ignited): The room
temperature is measured and compared to the Night time Setback
temperature. The Flame height is then automatically adjusted to
achieve the Night time Setback temperature.
Timer mode.
(appliance must be in standby mode; pilot ignited): The Timer setting
allows you to set 2 burner Temp times and 2 burner Temp times
every 24 hrs.
For Temp to operate as a thermostat, TEMP must be set at 4°C or
higher.
If the Temp setting is decreased to - -, the motor will turn the valve
to the standby position in the moon times and await the next burner
Temp cycle.
Setting the Temperature.
Select either the Temp MODE or the Temp MODE by briefly
pressing the SET button.
Hold the SET button until the TEMP display flashes.
Set the desired temperature with (▲) or (▼) .
Press OFF to complete program.
Setting the Timer.
Select Timer mode by briefly pressing the SET button.
