Belvedere Pillar Kit

Base Preparation

If installing your Barkman Belvedere Pillar Kit on an unstructured base, please ensure to follow these steps:

• Excavate area approx. 9 inches below grade.

• Excavate approx. 6 inches larger than your actual kit dimensions to ensure a stable base.

• Fill with ¾ inch down limestone and compact firmly. Level out ½ inch of sand and install kit as per the instruction guide.

• If you are installing on a solid base such as an existing patio and/or base prep is not necessary, then you can proceed below.

Place four 3" or 6" high corner blocks with the taper

facing into the center of the pillar.

Continue with subsequent rows to the desired pillar

height.

■

One pallet of corner blocks will make a 24" x 24" x 36" high

column.

Place the second row of four of the corner blocks with the

taper facing into the center of the pillar.

Build the first row with 6" corner blocks and the second row

with 3" corner blocks.
