TIPS FOR DECORATING

ACRYLIC PAINT MARKERS
1. Shake the marker for 30 seconds.
2. Gently push the tip of the marker down
onto a piece of scratch paper. Repeat
until you see paint appear on your paper.
This may take some time, so be patient!
If your marker starts to
dry up, dip the tip of the

marker into a small bowl
of water. Dry with a paper
towel. Repeat Step 2.
STICKER PLACEMENT
1. Use sticker sheet A and
follow diagram A.1 on the
right to give your work the
full faux boombox effect!
2. Use the stickers from sheet
B wherever you like – get
creative and express yourself!

1. Open your favorite music app on your phone.

2. Place your phone in the holder on the front
of the boombox and tap the play button on
& VOLUME
your app.
STEP 1
PAINT YOUR BOX!
STENCIL
1. To make a full zigzag
pattern on the back of your
box, paint one side of your
box using the zigzag stencil.
2. Flip the stencil
horizontally, line up the
pattern, and paint in the
other side!
For a crisp look, use a pencil to lightly trace your stencil design.
TIP!
Then, use your paint markers to color in your pencil markings.

3. Turn the volume dial clockwise. You will
hear a subtle click sound when you first turn it.
4. Turn the volume dial counterclockwise.
You will hear a subtle click sound when it's off.
