5. EXPERIMENT

5.1. Focus Adjustment

It is possible to adjust focus of the BFMC by rotating fiber adapter.

First, you need to have an bundle optical fiber cable connected to fiber adapter, and start image

acquisition to adjust focus.

Loosen the counter-nut and rotate the fiber adpater until you get a clear image of the fiber bundle

image in focus.

* Be careful, you may need to rotate several turns to adjust focus. To avoid twisting the cable, you may

need to disconnect and re-connect optical fiber cable during this alignment process.
