Optical Drive Installation & Replacement

1. Remove 3 screws (M2*4L(K))

2. Take away the CPU cover , than use the other side of tweezers to push the optical driver

away a little bit, then pull the optical drive out.

3. Replace the optical drive and secure 3 crews to fix it.

HDD Installation & Replacement

H D D

The Z31N Series Notebook uses an industry-standard 2½" HDD with IDE interface. You

can install the HDD to any capacity of your choice within our approval and prior test.

Installing HDD

1. Turn the notebook over and remove battery pack first.

2. Remove 2 screws on the bottom.

3. Remove the HDD cover and pull out the HDD module

4. Replace a new HDD into the HDD Mylar and hook up the HDD connector.
