in foil pools or other thin-walled pools
for the aq 5
■ big hole d=40 mm for the spot,
■ 2 holes d=3.5 for the fixing screws of the spot, as well as
■ 6 holes d=3.5 for the flanging screws
for the aq 20
■ big hole d=72 mm for the spot,
■ 3 holes d=4.5 for the fixing screws of the spot, as well as
■ 6 holes d=3.5 for the flanging screws
The sequence of components during flanging seen from the exterior surface of the pool towards
the inside:
■ Installation sleeve
■ Gasket
■ Pool wall (foil or thin pool wall)
■ Sealing flange (the countersink for the screws must face away from the pool wall.)
Absolutely adhere to the described sequence. Ensure that the holes for the fixing screws in all parts
lie on top of each other. Maybe it is necessary to turn a component in order to achieve that.
Clean the sealing surfaces, they must be dust-free and dry. Mount the sealing flange to the instal-
lation sleeve using the six enclosed Torx countersunk screws M3 x 12 and press the sealing gasket
against the installation sleeve. Carefully tighten the screws crosswise consequently sealing the
connection between the pool and the installation sleeve.
Tightening torque of the M3 flanging screws: max. 2 Nm.

Equipotential bonding

According to the local circumstances, observe the applicable requirements for the equipotential
bond at the swimming pool. In case an equipotential bond is needed, use the crimping eyelet
screwed to the installation sleeve for attaching it.

Installing the spot

Install the spot as described in the installation instruction of the spot.

Maintenance, disposal

Care

■ The installation sleeve and the sealing flange are maintenance-free.
■ The installation sleeves are made of stainless V4A steel. However, depending on the environ-
mental conditions and the surfacing material, the metal parts may present the so-called flash
rust, but this does not constitute a defect.
