Chapter 1 Introduction

FE1 Fiber Modem is designed based on an ASIC chip. The chip adopts

special patent technology of reduced dithering, digital phase locked and

distill clock, E1 anti-jamming, etc. The inner software and hardware are all

modularity, integrating coding, decoding, message insertion and alarm,

and make the circuit simple so as to improve the reliability of the device.

Dithering tolerance and dithering transmission characteristic of E1

channel have high performance, which is superior to industry
