INSTRUCTION MANUAL
WARNINGS: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
1. Caution: Heavy items – handle with care.
2. Install the appliance in a room protected from frost. If the appliance is damaged because the safety
device has been tampered with, it is not covered by the warranty.
3. Make sure that the wall on which the appliance is mounted can support the weight of the appliance
when filled with water.
4. If the appliance is to be installed in a room or location where the ambient temperature is constantly
above 35 °C, ensure that the room is correctly ventilated.
5. When installed in a bathroom, do not install the appliance in volumes V0, V1 and V2 (see fig ).
6. If there is not enough space, they can be installed in volume V2.
7. Position the appliance where it can be accessed.

9. Installation of vertical wall-mounted water heater: To facilitate future replacement of the heating
element, leave clear space (300 mm) below the ends of the appliance pipes.
10. If the appliance is set up in a suspended ceiling or attic, or above living space, a drain pan must be
installed underneath the water heater. A drainage device connected to the sewer system is required.
11. This product is intended for use at a maximum altitude of 3000 m.
12. This water heater is fitted with a thermostat with an operating temperature of more than 60 °C at its
maximum position, capable of reducing the growth of legionella bacteria in the tank.
13. Caution! Above 50 °C, water could cause immediate burns. Check the water temperature before taking
a bath or shower.
14. A new safety device which conforms to current standards (EN 1487 in Europe), pressure 0.8 MPa
(8 bar) and size ½" in diameter must be fitted. The safety valve must be protected from frost.
15. The pressure relief valve drainage device must be activated on a regular basis in order to remove
limescale deposits and to check that it is not blocked.
16. A pressure reducer (not supplied) is required if the supply pressure is greater than 0.5 MPa (5 bar)
and will be installed on the main supply pipe.
17. Connect the safety unit to a discharge pipe, kept in the open air, in a frost-free environment,
continuously sloping downwards to drain off the heat-expanded water or to allow for drainage of the
water heater.
18. The working pressure of the heat exchanger circuit must not exceed 0.3 MPa (3 bar), its temperature
must not exceed 100 °C.
19. DRAIN: Turn off the power and cold water supply, open the hot water taps then operate the drainage
valve of the safety device.
20. NOTE: For water heaters under sinks, disconnect the hydraulic unit and turn it upside down to drain.
21. Be sure to turn off the power before removing the cover, to prevent any risk of injury or electric shock.
22. Upstream of the appliance, the electrical installation must have an all-pole cut-out device (circuit-
breaker, fuse) compliant with the local installation rules in force (30 mA residual current device).
23. If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced with a cable or a special pack available from the
manufacturer or the After-Sales service.
24. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its After-Sales service or a
similarly qualified professional to prevent any hazards.
