1. INTRODUCTION

The Sanidyne

Portable Area Sanitizer disinfects air and surfaces in unoccupied areas by means of four

germicidal lamps. The lamps generate high levels of ultraviolet radiation lethal to bacteria, molds, viruses,

and fungi. The portable area sanitizer's compact size and low weight conveniently allow it to be carried

from one location to another, providing disinfection wherever and whenever necessary. A room as large

as 1,000 square feet can be treated in less than one hour.

2. COMPONENTS AND ACCESSORIES LIST

The Sanidyne

Portable Area Sanitizer includes the following as standard equipment:

• FOUR (4) G48T6L-U GERMICIDAL LAMPS - Generate short-wave ultraviolet radiation that disinfects air

and surfaces.

• 3-HOUR INTERVAL TIMER - Allows treatment time to be customized to room size.

• THREE-MINUTE TIME DELAY MECHANISM - Allows time for people to leave the area before ultraviolet

treatment begins.

• OPERATION INDICATOR LIGHT - Visible glow indicates that unit is in use.

• Ultraviolet-BLOCKING ADJUSTABLE FULL FACE SHIELD - Insures against accidental exposure of

eyes and face while testing and servicing the unit.

• WARNING SIGN: "DANGER - DO NOT ENTER - ULTRAVIOLET DISINFECTION IN PROGRESS -

ULTRAVIOLET RAYS ARE HARMFUL TO EYES AND SKIN." - Informs personnel that fixture is in use and

that treatment area should not be entered unless appropriate precautionary measures are taken.

• RIGID STORAGE COVER WITH OBSERVATION PORTS - Keeps lamps clean and protects them from

breakage while transporting and storing the unit. Non-Ultraviolet transmitting glass windows allow for

observation of lamps when testing the unit.
