b. FMA-LRPV Series Side Panels for FMA Series cabinets:
DID YOU KNOW? The FMA-LRPV series side panels are more like doors than standard lift off panels. They are extremely convenient.
Unlock them and open. It's that simple. The panels can be removed if greater access is required.
i.
These side panels install much like the front doors. Orient the side panel, as if it will be mounted on the cabinet front. Hinge side will be
towards the back of the cabinet.
ii.
On the cabinet, mount the male hinge with the pins facing up. Use two (2) of the self-tapping screws found in the hardware bag to
mount each male hinge.
iii. On the hinge side of the side panel, there will be four (4) holes. There will be 2 holes near the top and 2 holes near the bottom. Mount
each female hinge on the side panel using two (2) of the self-tapping screws provided in the hardware bag. In each case, the female
hinge will be mounted with the hinge-hole facing down.
iv. Mount side panel onto cabinet.

Install the side panel lock catch using the two (2) 10-32 x .500" screws and 10-32 Nuts.
vi. If required, the rotation and lock position should be changed to make sure locking properly occurs:
1. Open the side panel.
2. Remove the bolt in the back of the lock.
3. Carefully remove the lock cam and lock washer.
4. Behind the lock cam is a special 90° washer. This washer has a section removed and controls the lock and unlock orientations by
engaging on a protrusion on the lock body. Carefully remove this special 90° washer.
5. Insert the key into the lock and orient to the desire locking position.
6. Replace the special 90° washer and then turn the key to the unlocked position. Repeat using different orientations until the desired
locking and unlocking orientations are met. Note: The washer can be flipped 90° if needed.
7. Replace the lock cam, lock washer, and bolt to match the desired locking and unlocking orientations.
