Using your Battery Charger
Before using your ANKOM 10 Station Battery Charger, please read the information
below.
Use this charger only with ANKOM RF16 battery packs (green labels).
Connect the power supply to the back of the battery charger, and then plug it
into a standard electrical outlet (110V or 220V dependent on model ordered).
Use only the power supply and cable supplied with the unit.
Push the toggle switch on the front panel of the battery charger up to turn it on.
The two RED lights next to the switch should come on.
Connect the RF 16 battery packs to the charger. Note that the connector has a
locking tab which must be pressed to disconnect the battery. Do not force the
connector.
Battery Packs do NOT have to be fully discharged before being
connected to the charger.
Each station on the charger has a RED light and a GREEN light. When a
battery is connected, the RED light should come on within 5 minutes. This
indicates the battery is charging. If the RED light does not come on within 5
minutes, the battery pack may be faulty, or there may be a problem with that
station.
Individual charging stations can be used at any time. You do NOT
have to use every charging station at once to use the charger.
When the RED and GREEN lights for a specific station are fully lit, the battery
pack connected to that station is fully charged. Remember to wait until both
lights are fully lit. A fully discharged battery should charge within 3 hrs.
Disconnect battery packs when charging is complete. Battery packs can be
connected and disconnected from the charger with the charger power ON.
Your Battery Packs will NOT be damaged if you leave them
connected to your charger after they are fully charged.
Keep the power OFF when the charger is not being used.
