The preferred method to

mount your FoxlightS is

on the back of a star post

placed in position to

maximize field coverage

The light can operate on the ground, but must be secured so it cannot fall on its side. The light flash

must project from the unit in a horizontal position to maximize effect.

When the unit is not required to flash, or is being stored, remove the battery. • Do not leave old batteries in the unit.

• Dispose of old battery in the proper manner. • For lamb and young goats protection, it is recommended to concentrate light s on and

around the animals sleeping area. • Either a hen house or duck pond, place lights in positions outside near sleeping area, and so it is

visible from the maximum directions possible. • These lights do not need to be right on top of the animal being protec ted.

• With the correct care these lights will operate for many years. • FoxlightS are designed as a deterrent of night predators, but may not

succeed against al attacks.
