11. Tracking Function

Before the tracking functionality of this device can be used, it has to be registered on the Anytrek portal. This can be

accomplished by going to www.guardian.anytrek.com.

Install your tracker and apply power to it. The 2 LED's on the side of the device will go through a sequence as the

device does a self-check and then connects to the 3G network. The blue LED represents the status of the cellular

modem inside the device. While it's flashing slowly it's searching for the 3G network and when it starts to flash

quickly it has found the network and connected.

If this is your first Anytrek product, click on

'Don't have an account' to go to the

account creation screen.

The important step here is to make sure

you enter the 14 digit Device ID. You can

find this either on the bottom of the box

the device came in, or on top of the

tracker itself.

Once all the data has been entered and

verified, your tracker will be automatically

allocated to your new account and the

main portal screen will appear on your

screen.
