Step 5: Test.
The new firmware is now downloaded and should be tested.
•
Turn off the printer.
•
Turn DIP Switch #1 OFF.
•
Turn on the printer.
To test the printer:
•
Make sure journal roll paper is installed.
•
Hold down the ACTION key ("1" key) until the printer begins printing its Printer Status
Info message.
•
Verify the new firmware's version number matches the firmware intended to be
downloaded.
