Remove the trim piece behind the
compartment for the factory jack.
STEP

Partially remove the trim piece to the
passenger wall of the trunk closest to
the tailgate.
STEP

Partially remove a section of the
weatherstripping along the bottom
of the trunk, closest to where the
connection to the license plate wire
was made. Feed the wire behind the
bumper and weatherstripping, into
the interior of the vehicle. Replace
weatherstripping when finished.
