USING THE CHARGER
Power up
Plug the DC adapter into
a power socket and connect it to the
charger. The charger requires exter-
nal power in order to work; there is
no built-in battery.
Prepare audio files
Transfer files
according to the PICKUP PRODUCER
MANUAL. Plug the USB cable (includ-
ed) into the charger, making sure you
push it in all the way. Connect the
other end of the cable to a USB port
on your computer.
Insert up to seven PICKUP audio
guides into the charger. The audio
guides will be listed with their serial
numbers as individual mass storage
devices on your computer.
Select your audio tour files and copy/
drag them to each of the devices (the
PICKUP units). The lights on the top
of the PICKUP units will start flashing,
indicating that copying is in progress.
Eject PICKUP
When the PICKUP units
show a pulse or steady light, eject
the devices from the computer and
disconnect the USB cable.
Charge PICKUP units
The red light on
top of the PICKUP indicates the cur-
rent status of the units in the charger.
Fast flash: Transfer in progress. Audio
files are being downloaded from your
computer to the PICKUP unit. Do not
remove PICKUP from the charger.
Pulse: Charging in progress. OK to
remove PICKUP.
Steady light: Fully charged. OK to
remove PICKUP.
Important
Audio tour files are stored
on the PICKUP units, not the charger.
