STEP 7:
Take the base panel E and lower it into the cot, pushing it on top of the base support
brackets (#5), through the holes on the corners of the bed base.
The threaded end of the bracket should be visible in the holes. Now apply 4x top hat
nuts (#6) to the end of the bracket to secure the base in place. Fully tighten with an
Allen key.
Note: The printed side of the base panel is to face up/be visible.

STEP 8:
NOW you can fully tighten ALL the hardware on the head and foot boards
using an allen key. There are 8 in total and some are now underneath the base
- ensure all are tightened.
Once the hardware is fully tightened, the cot bed is ready to use in its upper
position.
Please keep all remaining hardware, panels and instructions in a safe
place so you can refer to them for when your child is ready for the
cot bed base to be moved down to a lower level.
