4. Correct Use

Wheels:

The product is supplied with two transportation wheels to allow easy manoeuvring.

When the wheels have been supplied pre-fitted, they may have been positioned

inwards for delivery – in this case they will need to be repositioned before product use.

To do this:

1. Remove the pin clip by pulling it outwards from the leg

2. Adjust the extension leg to the desired height by aligning another of the

adjustment holes in the extension leg with the leg of the frame

3. Refit the pin clip ensuring it goes fully through and clips into position

4. Repeat for the other legs ensuring that all are at the same height

Arm Removal:

To remove each arm pull the spring plunger

outwards whilst at the same time removing the arm

by pulling upwards. To refit, pull the plunger

outwards whilst pushing the arm into place ensuring

it seats fully before releasing the plunger.

Backrest Adjustment:

To re-position the backrest, slacken the two

thumbwheels underneath the seat and adjust the

backrest in or out as required. Ensure that the

thumbwheels have been re-tightened before use.

This product was developed for greater ease of use. The rear handle was designed intended to allow

easy fitting and removal from the commode and greater control when carrying and emptying. The upper

handle when put in the upright position locks into position for stability. To fold it down, push the handle

vertically downwards to release the locking tabs before folding it backwards towards the rear handle.

To fit the pan , ensure that the pan handles are lifted clear of the support brackets then slide the

pan across the rear supporting brackets fitted to the commode until contact is made with the

front of the bracket.

To remove the pan, ensure the handles are clear of the support brackets and then slide the pan

out from the rear of the commode.

•

The upper handle will require to be folded down before fitting to the commode.
