PROBLEM
Pump does not
run
Pump runs with
no water output

POSSIBLE CAUSE
No power
Motor overheating due to:
i) Liquid temperature being too high
ii) Blocking by foreign bodies
Residual current circuit breaker
triggered
Motor defective
Suction opening is blocked
Pump drawing in air
Pump blocked by foreign bodies
Check the water supply and prime the
pump.
Switch off the pump, wait for the motor to
cool down and restart. If the indicator does
not go off, contact authorized D&S dealer.
Repair or replace sensor and fit tightly back
in the pump. Restart the pump, the
indicator will then go off.

SOLUTION
Check connections and power
supply
Eliminate the cause of overheating
Reset circuit breaker
Replace motor
Clear blockage
Prime the pump
Clean the suction area
