Software Versions 02.02.04.00 through 02.03.05.03
Introduction
DrillCommand software will be programmed with
presets from our Great Plains factory. However,
additional system inputs are required to begin field
operations. Great Plains recommends ground speed
and metering system calibration with each field
session, anytime the range gears are changed or
adjusted, and when changing the material. This Quick
Start Guide will cover basic system inputs for BD7600
box drills with hydraulic drive.
Required System Inputs
DrillCommand Home menu displays when the
software program is loaded on your terminal. Required
systems inputs will be accessed through the Machine
Settings menu. You will need to provide required
system inputs under the following menus: Speed
Settings, Hopper Settings, Product Database, and
Meter Settings before drilling material in the field.
Covered Models
This Quick Start Guide has been developed for Great
Plains box drill models BD7600-26, BD7400-30,
BD7600-40, and BD7600-50 hydraulic drive models
equipped with DrillCommand software versions
02.02.04.00
through
"Identifying Software Version" on page 3 for more
information.
Before You Begin
Understanding the following information will help you
navigate the menus as you enter the required system
inputs.
