Description

A series represent the natural evolution to extend car audio amplifiers series

for all needs, after our extensive R&D. We thought this design for everyone

want to combine high sound quality, high power levels and high listening

levels (high power levels for long time), without to renounce to our highest

standards as sound quality and reliability.

FA series is composed of four modelss all studied to satisfy all possible needs

and configuration our customers wait from us.

Let's go into details;

Very good audio performance for best sound quality without

coloration (double differential input audio amplifiers, high current

capability triple darlington output stages, 20Mhz matched pairs

output audio SANKEN© transistors).

Full mounting flexibility (HP and LP filters are independent as

tuning and could be bypassed for full-range needs)

High reliability and resistance to overheat thanks to massive

heatsink, full protection circuits and oversized power devices.

High current capability (1 ohm stable).

Unregulated 500W power supply allow to increase output power

according to battery voltages availables.

Original heatsink designed for the heaviest thermal work, and for

our family look.

2) Electric: use power cables for battery supply as large as possible to

minimize voltage drops. Insert the fuse nearest possible to the battery with

following value: 40A.

Size the battery (or 2nd battery) appropiately, remembering that to obtain the

best performance, it would be better to choose one with high and fast impulsive

current supply. Connect audio inputs only with high quality cables and

connectors, avoid wiring long and tortuous nearest to power cables, otherwise

will be listen pick-up noises in audio reproduction. Connect loudspeakers

outputs only with high quality cables and connectors as large as possible;

nominal load is 1 ohm each channel, when music play it is capable of safe

drive loads even less, but if the product current supplied to load for the time is

too much, the protect circuit will be trigger on.

For bridged output it is necessary to connect in parallel audio inputs, (by

means of "Y" adapter), and connect loudspeaker where reported (see picture

connections), keeping in mind that now the nominal load is 2 ohm.

A third very advantageous way to use this amplifier is to play simultaneously

a Stereo front filtered system and a Mono (bridged) low frequency

loudspeaker; in this case there is no need to connect the audio inputs in

parallel.
