Cleaning and maintenance

ever clean this appliance with a water jet spray

ever immerse the motor block (B) into any liquid.
B
e careful: risk of cuts when cleaning the mixer attachment equipped with the blade.
T
o clean the inside of the blade guard (E) and the blade (F), immerse the blender tube (D) into clear water and let it run
for ca. 3 sec.
B
efore you clean the exterior of the blender tube (D) or the motor block (B), unplug the appliance form the wall
outlet.
C
lean the handle / motor block (B) with a slightly damp sponge or cloth. Clean the exterior of the blender tube (D) and
the blade guard (E) with running water under the faucet. If you are using a washing up liquid, completely remove it before
next use. The appliance is not dish washer proofed.
I
n case it should be necessary to exchange the blender tube (D), screw it off by holding the blender tube (D) and turn it to
the right (following the engraved arrow and the word "open"). If you reassemble the blender tube (D) precede wise versa.
Take care that the blender tube (D) is correct replaced before you plug in the appliance and start operation.

The condition of the power cord (H). If the power cord (H) is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufac-
turer, its after-sales service or a person of similar qualification to avoid any danger.
Potential leaks in the blender tube (D) (wear of the seal fig.4)
Condition of the attachments (L-O). Make sure blades are not chipped or bent.
After a drop an inspection of the entire appliance must be made.
