terminal in mounting bracket. Tighten nuts on both clamp
brackets to 35 ± 5 in.-lbs.
5.0 POLE AND WALL MOUNTING INSTALLATION USING FIBER DOME TERMINAL
AND CLOSURE KIT FDST/FDT-08-POLE/PED-HB
5.1 Use two ¼ inch diameter (10 mm) bolts (not supplied)
to mount the closure/terminal to a wall or wood pole.
Mounting bracket can be used as a template for locating
the mounting screws. Install mounting bracket on wall
or wood pole as shown using hardware suitable for the
mounting surface.
5.2 Terminals can be mounted to metal poles using two
hose clamps (not supplied). Route hose clamps through
slots in mounting bracket. Tighten hose clamp as needed
to secure terminal or closure. Refer to sections 3.2 and 3.3
for installation of closure/terminal with mounting bracket.
Refer to section 5.3 for details on attaching lanyard. Loop
one of the 8" cable ties through one of the unused holes
on the bracket as shown and through the loop on the
other end of the lanyard.
