Press the rolled tab on the back of the Guide Plate to remove the Pad
Assembly.
Rolled Tab
•
Align the hooks on the top of
the metal retainer with the
tabs on the Guide Plate and
press the rolled tab into slot.
•
Reinstall the Guide Plate in
the scanner.
Note:
If the Guide Plate is not
installed properly, it will cause
paper jams and noise.
•
Carefully close the ADF Sheet Guide Assembly.
•
Close the Upper Transport Unit.
