Halaman CetakRemove the temporary nipple. Apply a ring of plumbers putty around

the back surface of the flange(2). Slide the flange over the shower
arm(3). Apply tape or sealant to the shower arm, and install the

shower arm into the shower ell(1). Tighten with a strap wrench. Push
the flange against the wall. Remove any excess putty.

Flush both water supplies through the shower arm for one minute
before the shower head is installed. Apply tape or sealant to the
exposed end of the shower arm. Tighten the showerhead(4) with a

strap wrench.
Remove the temporary nipple. Apply a ring of plumbers putty around
the back surface of the flange(6). Slide the flange over the shower

arm(8). Apply tape or sealant to the shower arm, and install the
shower arm into the shower ell(5). Tighten with a strap wrench.

Push the flange against the wall, tighten the screw(10) with the hex

wrench(9) to secure the flange. Remove any excess putty.
Flush both water supplies through the shower arm for one minute
before the shower head is installed. Apply tape or sealant to the
exposed end of the shower arm. Tighten the showerhead(7) with a
strap wrench.
