8.3 Connection
• Connect pulser cable to the two terminals (9), ensuring correct polarity.
Make sure that the M-Bus cable is not connected to the voltage supply!
• Insert RJ-11 plug of connecting cable into connecting socket (10).
• Replace housing cover (1) and screw tight.
• Insert remaining RJ-11 plug of connecting cable into the RJ-11 socket of the ANS-1 or ANS-4
or
• Connect the free ends of the connecting cable to the M-Bus as shown in the diagrammes below.
IMPORTANT:
When using connecting cables from other suppliers, please check the following:

(tk/tq/tq) 3
(vi/vi/vi) 4
(bl/bl/bl) 5
Connection diagram:
Installation work may be carried
out only on potential-free equip-
ment.
M-Bus must not be
shorted with 15V~ lines.
8.4 Operational check
• Check the operation and configuration of the installed AMBUS
from AQUAMETRO. (Further information on this is contained in the handbook on this program.)
• When the operational check has been successfully performed, installation of the AMBUS® unit is
complete.
• After commissioning, seal one of the screws with the enclosed security seal (5).
