Installing the Battery

1. Place and align the battery in the battery bay.
2. Tighten the screws that secure the battery to the computer.
3. Connect the battery cable to the system board.
4. Install the base cover.
5. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer.

Removing the Memory Module(s)

1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove the:
a) base cover
b) battery
3. Pry the securing clips away from the memory module until it pops-up. Remove the memory module from its connector on the system
board.

Installing the Memory Module(s)

1. Insert the memory module into the memory socket.
2. Press the memory module down until it clicks into place.
NOTE:
If you do not hear the click, remove the memory module and re-install it.
3. Install the:
a) battery
b) base cover
4. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer.
