1. Turn on cold water to the kitchen faucet.

2. With the faucet on, slowly open the cold water shutoff valve.
Leave water running to flush cartridge for 15 minutes or until

water is clear of carbon fines. While the system is flushing, check
for leaks. Once the system is flushed, turn off kitchen faucet.
