5. Pull up on lid assembly and set aside. (see figure 19)

6. Remove the filter pads and rinse out with clean water.

7. If the filter pads are deteriorated, discard and replace

with new pads.

8. See replacement parts chart for the correct size and

part number for your pressure filter.

9. If there is excess build up in the bottom of the pres-

sure filter, you can rinse it out but do not clean 100%.

This is where the beneficial bacteria grow. (see figure

21)

10. Replace the filter pads and install the lid assembly and

clamp down with retaining clips or tension ring. (see

figures 16 & 18)

11. If for some reason the large o-ring comes off, it is best

to put it back on the lid assembly instead of the filter

bucket. (see figure 22)

12. Hook hoses back up, plug in the UV lamp and turn the

pump back on.
