NOTE: The audio, door opener and power supply cables must
be in separate jackets and not in the same cable jacket.
Use #18 wire for door release and power supply wiring.
WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
Run two-conductor twisted #22 (max 350' or 105m)
or #20 (max 500' or 150m) cable between the re-
mote station and the master station locations. If the
cable runs near any AC wires, please make sure this
wire run uses shielded cabling.
Run two-conductor #18 cable between the master
station and the power supply locations.
Run two-conductor #18 cable between the master
station and the door strike locations. Make sure to
leave suffi cient cable at each end to make connec-
tions (approximately 10" or 25cm).
Note: If
door release functionality from the mas-
ter station is not required for your application, the
'DOOR' button may be utilized for other signaling
purposes. Run the door release cable to the optional
signaling device (bell, buzzer, etc.) which must be
able to operate on 12VDC (or 16VAC if the master is
powered by 16VAC).

OPERATION AND CHECK-OUT INSTRUCTIONS
At Outdoor Remote Station
•
Push button to call master, release to listen.
At Indoor Master Station(s)
•
Push 'TALK' button to speak, release to listen.
•
Push 'DOOR' button to release door.
•
Push 'OFF' button to silence speaker. Station will re-
main in monitor mode if 'OFF' button is not pressed.
•
Press 'TALK' button to re-activate speaker
•
Adjust volume with small screwdriver as needed
through small opening in front of master station.
NOTE: Distortion, howling or feedback may result
if volume is too high.
Auto-Listen Mode
•
By default, the Indoor Master Stations are set to be in
Auto-Listen Mode. In order to turn off Auto Listen Mode
gently remove the small plastic jumper on the rear of
the unit marked J7. This will cause the station(s) to go
into listen mode when a call is placed only after fi rst
having pressed the 'TALK' button.
